Wings of Love
written by Wanda Hodge

Take me away new wings,

high into the sky.
Teach me how to live again,

show me how to fly.

Teach me how to truly love

for my heart to really soar,
Where no stormy clouds of life,

can capture me once more.

As I learn to love again,

soaring high above the rest.
I have found my place at last,

in heights where eagles nest.

Love only wants to give away,

like light and warmth from sun.
Not hold on tight with hands of fear

and choke out all life's fun.

When it's time to choose a mate,

the way the eagles do.
I'll soar up high above the clouds

and pick someone like you.
