Dangers of using Marijuana

A few months ago a college student was doing research on the harmful effects of using marijuana. Below is a list of the most obvious harmful side effects for marijuana users.

Incarceration in the county jail, state or federal prison for long periods of time (some states
long mandatory prison sentences for first time offenders)

Lost job because of failed urine test (unless you are a paid snitch for the DEA).

Excesive fines by the court and or extremely long prison sentences.

Being accidently shot by the police, in your own home, during a midnight raid .

Being set up by narcotics agents who are selling pot and busting buyers.

Losing your home, your job, your family,  all your worldly possession and your freedom  because you were found with  marijuana in your possession.

Being vulnerable to extortion and blackmail by paid snitches or enemies if they know about
your activities.

Not being eligable to receive federal college grants or government loans because of  a drug conviction, some states this even includes a misdemeanor for simple possession.

Not being eligable to receive public assistance of any kind because of a drug conviction.
including food stamps, public housing, energy assistance, loans or grants.

Havng a black mark against you as a convicted drug offender that could prevent you from being able to work in many jobs or professions unless it's jobs with the FBI, DEA, or as a politician.

Being labled and catagorized as a drug addict for using marijuana (marijuana is neither a drug (it's an herb)  and isn't as addictive as chocolate, caffine, nicotine or alcohol. People who are labled as drug addicts are dehumanized in our society as though they were lower than pond scum. Those who truly do have a REAL drug problem instead of getting the help they need, they are treaed like criminals of the worse kind.

Losing your right to vote, in some states as long as 5 yrs after you have served your sentence.
In Florida you lose your right to vote for life if convicted of a felony.
