Regardless if you believe that God created all the creatures on this earth and placed man in dominion over them or if it took billions of years for them to slowing evolve, you will still have to admit that all the creatures on this earth are very special and each has a unique role to play in the balance of the ecosystem of this planet. Just because we don't always realize how precious their existance is, doesn't mean they are dispensable. We might possibly be the only species that is expendable. Nature doesn't even need man in order to survive but man needs nature. We thought we were smarter than all the other creatures but we have become a scourge on this planet and a threat to all the other life forms. Man can not continue to destroy nature without destroying himself in the process. We are a part of nature and without the other life forms we too will cease to exist.
